Charles was born September 20, 1934, in Fairfield to Henry and Hazel (Munday) Thomason.  On December 28, 1963, he married Ann Short of Fairfield.  On December 28, 2022, they celebrated 59 years of marriage.  His survivors include wife Ann of Fairfield, son Mark of Fairfield, three grandsons- Eric, Trevor, and Nathan Thomason, two great grandsons- Lei and Lukus Thomason, 4 nieces and several cousins.
